What happened at the AI Summit 2026
Two days. 1,700 metres. Real AI in practice.
The 2026 edition brought together attendees from across Europe and the US – for two days of keynotes, masterclasses, and deep dives on the Hahnenkamm. Sessions on Agentic AI, enterprise integration, and real-world AI implementation proved that AI is already transforming businesses – not in theory, but in production.
Particularly popular: sessions where technology partners presented real projects alongside their clients – including IBM with uptoIP, Communardo with HUGO BOSS, and Almato with valantic.
The most-attended session of 2026: Markus Lanz moderating a live panel with leaders from IBM, SAP, Borealis, KEBA and Metro. Beyond the Mountain Stage: masterclasses in the legendary Starthaus of the Hahnenkamm downhill race Streif, demo sessions in individual glass pagodas of Almato and IBM, and the Expo Chalet – the world’s first at 1,700m.

From 20-22 January 2027, the AI Summit Kitzbühel brings together 100 selected executives during Hahnenkamm Race Week. Hosted at the members-only Kitzbühel Country Club, the program combines keynotes, executive breakouts with Markus Lanz and smaller discussions, followed by Race Friday at the Hahnenkamm.
